Fluvanna County Economic Development Authority

Fluvanna County
Economic Development Authority

The Fluvanna County Economic Development Authority (EDA) is a seven-member board appointed by the Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors. The EDA serves as a vital partner in strengthening the County’s economy by supporting business growth, job creation, and community investment.

As a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Authority has the ability to issue bonds, enter into agreements, and provide strategic financial tools to encourage economic development. Working closely with the Fluvanna County Office of Economic Development, the EDA helps attract new businesses, retain and expand existing ones, and foster a thriving environment where entrepreneurs and industries can succeed.

EDA Mission Statement

The mission of the Fluvanna County Economic Development Authority is to collaborate with the Economic Development Office to facilitate the effective and efficient delivery of essential services and programs to the business community. Our goals are to enhance economic vitality, broaden the tax base, foster job creation, and advance sustainable business development in alignment with the objectives outlined in the Fluvanna County Strategic Plan.
