Fluvanna County Tourism Advisory Committee

The Tourism Advisory Committee (TAC) serves as an advisory body to the Economic Development Director, County Administrator, and Board of Supervisors on matters related to tourism development and promotion. The TAC provides recommendations on tourism marketing, event initiatives, and long-range strategies to increase visitation and tourism-related revenue for the County.

The committee is composed of 10 members, appointed by the Board of Supervisors, who represent key sectors of Fluvanna’s tourism economy: arts and culture, history, recreation, dining, retail, agritourism, wineries, and Lake Monticello. The Economic Development Director and Director of Parks & Recreation also serve as voting members. A member of the Board of Supervisors serves as a non-voting liaison.

TAC members serve two-year terms and meet bi-monthly at the Fluvanna County Administration Building. The committee may also establish special or standing subcommittees for specific projects or initiatives.
